We are an independent, woman-owned, and Veteran-owned business headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia. We ship our products within the United States.
Chef Erinn S. Roth hails from Enterprise, Mississippi and earned her BS Degree in Chemistry/Pre-Medicine from Alcorn State University, Lorman, Mississippi where she was also commissioned as a Second Lieutenant. She has served in numerous stateside and international assignments beginning at Fort Hood, Texas and culminating in Washington, DC.
Chef Roth retired from the US Army on 1 January 2017 after 24 years and fifteen days as a Lieutenant Colonel. Prior to retiring, Chef Roth founded Ms. Jo’s Petite Sweets in 2016 and named it after her beloved late Mother, Mrs. Jo Bradford Hardaway,
as an eternal tribute. Mrs. Hardaway always encouraged her family and loved ones to cherish each day and enjoy life’s sweetest moments.

Ms. Jo’s Petite Sweets specializes in made from scratch, small batch Southern inspired desserts with a French influence. They also create heavy and light hors d’oeuvres tables for corporate and private catering. Ms. Jo’s Petite Sweets has catered at national conventions, trade shows, wine and food festivals as well as private and corporate functions. Ms. Jo’s plans to showcase its petite sweets at the upcoming MetroCooking DC Food Show for the fourth year. In 2018, Ms. Jo’s won First Place in the MetroCooking Gingerbread House competition.

Chef Erinn Roth has honorably served her country and continues to serve her community through her talents as a regionally recognized pastry chef. She entered the national renowned Pastry School at L’Academie de Cuisine, Gaithersburg, Maryland on 3 January 2017 where she graduated 15 December 2017. She is a graduate of the Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans with Disabilities at Cornell University, School of Hotel Administration; a graduate of the Dog Tag Fellowship Program where she received a Certificate in Business Administration from Georgetown University; and, is a graduate of the WeWork/Bunker Labs Veterans In Residence Program in Washington, DC.

In 2019, Ms. Jo’s Petite Sweets partnered with the Loudoun United Football Club for its inaugural season at its new stadium and introduced its petite sweets to Loudoun County.

Sales Tax Information

Because we have warehouses in multiple areas, sales tax regulations require that we charge sales tax for orders shipped to either of the above locations (CA, FL, TX, WA and/or WI).

Order Processing & Customer Support

All of our food products are baked on demand and shipped within 1-2 days. We are currently only accepting online orders. If you need assistance, please email orders@petitesweetsbymsjo.com. Our Customer Service Department is here to assist with inquires or concerns and our Service Hours are Monday-Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. EST.

Received merchandise that is defective or damaged in transit or missing items from your order?

Report your issue within 5 days of delivery for credit by emailing orders@petitesweetsbymsjo.com and include your order number, item number, quantity, damage description (if applicable) and photo.

In order to provide excellent service and speedy order processing we typically DO NOT accept order changes or cancellations. If you would like to change or modify your order please notify Customer Service AS SOON AS POSSIBLE to see if the order has completed processing and we may be able to accommodate the change at that time, otherwise once you submit your purchase it is highly unlikely you will be unable to change quantities, add, or remove items from your order. Please be sure to review your order carefully before purchasing.

Orders placed on major holidays are queued for processing the next business day. Our Shipments typically dispatch on Monday – Friday only.

Prices and items are periodically subject to change. We reserve the right to correct typographical, descriptive and photographic errors. Orders based on incorrect information are subject to cancellation.

If an error has occurred in your address and you notify us immediately we will make every attempt to assist in correcting the error. If your order is returned to us as undeliverable or refused, a refund is issued less return freight charges and a 20% restocking fee. Original shipping is non-refundable.
